It took Yeti a while to step into the ring with a 29er, but when it did, it stepped in with a vengeance. The Big Top is a go anywhere, do anything hardtail 29er. The stiff aluminum front triangle is complemented by the laterally stiff, vertically compliant rear. The relatively slack (for a 29er) 70 degree headtube leans toward all-mountain design and ensures fast, stable descending. With the XTR build, the Big Top weighs just over 24 pounds. That's race-ready by anyone's standards.
