X-fusion slide 29 Sticky at top

My Slide has always been sticky at the top of the travel, but now it's gotten pretty sticky to where small bump compliance is zero (well it has always sucked at small bumps). X-Fusion Slide 29 question: Should I be able to bottom the fork out?

I am a fairly light rider 150 lbs. I have tuned the fork and run about 60 lbs of air. However, I still cannot get more than about 2/3 of the travel from the fork. Anyone try this yet? Wonder if a Slide 29 to 650B would fit and work the same as a X Fusion 26 (Enix, Velour,Velvet) conversion. Would axle to crown be longer and therefore head angle change?
