Strengths: Quality of build at price point of $1000 if incredible.Weaknesses: At this price it's hard to find fault with this bike.Bottom Line: Tremendous value for $1100! Very well made frame, powder coated for durability. 29s are fine!

Strengths: (Here named RedSkin 1.0, I believe it's Black Forest 29er in US), agility, speed over roots and rocks, great for upgrades, DT Swiss hubs and rims work fantasticallyWeaknesses: Fork: should be lighter at this price range (1799 euros), perhaps Reba29, white break calipers look odd to aesthestically inclined (why not black or charcoal?), bent two rear derailleur hangers in two weeksBottom Line: Great 29er, was thinking about a 26" full sus, but this works wonders over roots and rocks, rides over roots and rocks rather well, makes my lines more straightforward and gives me plenty of confidence to attack obstacles at higher speed tahn I did with a 26. However, as a flagshio model, should come with a higher end for (albeit no problems with the RS Recon so far), easy to shed some weight by upgrades
Duration Product Used: 3 months
Similar Products Used: Cube Acid (not a 29er but similar European geometry)
Bike Setup: Factory setup, rider specicific adjustments
