Strengths: Bike actually takes to the trail extremely well...Carbon fiber frame is a beautiful understated mate grey... Takes downhills like mad and actually loves to jump, biggest difference from my Anthem x3... Very strong climber (read somewhere this was a weakness) completely disagree... After components change the bike dropped from 28.8lb (no pedals) to 27.4lb (with XTR pedals)...Weaknesses: None so far... only three months old...Bottom Line: Bought this because I wanted more travel than what my Anthem X3 XTR had... Was worried if I made the right move as I was only able to sample an aluminum at my LBS parking lot... After talking to some other Stumpy owners I went ahead and pulled the trigger, this bike Rides awesome...Not cheap but well, It's Carbon... You can upgrade anything as the frame is worth it... only 27.4lb on XL frame after all upgrades... No regrets at all, bikes ROCKS!!!
Only thing needed is to upgrade wheel sets... Will report on progress of reliability and strengths and weaknesses in 6 months...
