Strengths:    The stiff frame comes in at slightly less than 27 lbs. Very fine all around bike. Climbs, is fast, and rolls well in the mode of an XC bike but with the Maverick DUC32 easily handles the rock gardens of Arizona. Comfortable for long periods with forgiving handling, not at all twitchy. The simple geometry and Ti make it a great looking bike.

Weaknesses:    None yet. I hear that the Maverick rear end can develop a maddening squeek, although I haven't heard that yet. Oh yeah, it took about 4 months to have this bike built, but not Eriksen's fault. His suppliers didn't come thru.

Bottom Line:
Kent Eriksen makes really superb bikes. He and Katie are a pleasure to deal with. This bike is a pleasure to own and ride and it is great to work with a cycling legend like KE.
