Strengths:    Ride comfort and control.Saddle very comfortable.Plastic peddles have very good grip when dry,a bit slippery when wet.Ride position very good.Slow speed handling good going up or down tight turns.High speed handling is solid and predictable.Large frame size fits my 6 ft 175 pound body very well.Suntour coil fork never dives or packs up going down hill.

Weaknesses:    Weight(35.5 lbs or 16.1 kg).Installed a 41 tooth cog(MBT tools on Ebay) on the cassette which allows me to peddle uphill very well despite this deficiency.Coil rear shock is actually very plush but also heavy so i replaced it with a DNM AOY-36rc Air Rear Shock.(79 dollars amazon).Suspension is now plush and rebound adjustable.Tektro mechanical disc brakes were out of adjustment straight out of the box and not that easy to align.Rear brake pads squealed until contamination was removed by heating pads smoking hot with propane torch.

Bottom Line:
Overall great bike for the money. The single pivot rear suspension is actually very good.I don't mind the pedal bob at all,in fact i never lock the rear shock out.If you buy this bike thru the mail you should carefully check all hardware for torque and alignment. The Tektro mechanical disc brakes require special attention but can be adjusted for very good modulation and stopping power.

Strengths:    Disk Brakes

Weaknesses:    Harsh Ride

Bottom Line:
I purchased this bike for my wife (who absolutely loves it) after a long on-line search. If I would've ridden it first, I would've purchased something else, as it is not nearly as compliant as my Giant VT2 - in fact, after diddling around with the rear suspension, I would say that it only rides just slightly better than a hardtail (!).
Everything else is as-expected.
For a brand new bike with disk brakes and mountain bike styling, it's probably a good value, but it's not a great value.
