For fun I made a 2006 Rush 29er. It took a little time to get the rear aligned but I did it in about 3 hrs. The rear travel is now 130mm and the front a Lefty Max reduced to 120mm. I just sold my Trek 4 series looking to step up to something a little more advanced. I ride mainly singletrack trails, usually no more than 15 miles at a time. Either of the bikes above would be a step up but I dont know alot about them.

I think it would be one of the best XC bikes ever. I would like to know some experts opinion on this taking into account that I dont know how the Rush longer wheel base and lower BB would work with bigger wheels (29er).
