Strengths: Light: I didn't weigh the frame alone, but the bike came in at 23.5 LBS.
Nibble: I've been riding MTBs since 1986, but this was my first 29er. Everything I have read indicates that no 29er should be this nimble.
Efficiency: Right out of the box I improved my endurance on this bike. It could be any combination of factors --including mental.
Tossability: The light weight backend really allows me to pick up the bike and put it where I wanted.Weaknesses: The ST stands for Soft Tail. I suppose four inches of travel is possible, but at 160LBS, I'm not seeing more than 2.5. That's really all I wanted anyway.
The bike gets maybe too much attention. I had a ride delayed by about half an hour due to the questions. I like to keep it modest.Bottom Line: The bike rides like a dream ...and I got this one used just to see if I wanted one custom built for me. It really excels in fast twisty single track and endurance rides. I really appreciate the lightness of the bike and can bunny hop it much better than I thought I would ever be able to when I first built it up and straddled it. I've taken the bike on some pretty rugged, rocky downhills and never missed the five inches the Mojo had ...of course I tend to stand on the downhill anyway.
Bottom Line? The ultimate softtail.
