Strength:

Lightweight. Climbs like a mountain goat. Fast rolling tyres. Great fork - plenty of travel for the average rider. Excellent components - SRAM 7 and 9 combo is very slick. Love the look - understated but with a touch of class.

Weakness:

Slight concern about the kenda small block tyres. Only been out once but can already see that they will get clogged when weather turns for the worse. Grips and saddle won't stay white for long but work well with the black.

Great bike at a great price. Recent magazine review has obviously fueled demand as the 2012's are completely sold old. I can see why - the combination of looks, weight, components and ride at sub £1k is going to be very tough for the competition to get close to. I am 5' 10" ish with a shortish reach and bought the medium - would say that anyone 5' 11 + with a long reach would be better off with a large although plenty of lenght on the saddle post (did I mention it was carbon ;-)

1st time on a 29er - understand what all the fuss is about now. Buy if you can get your hands on one.
