Strengths:    Excellent pedaling bike. Handles technical terrain very well. The wheelbase expands on square edge hits, smoothing out hard hits. Great bike for all terrain.

Weaknesses:    Downhill capabilities limited by the Fox 32 Float on mine. Had some minor trouble with the bolts/cable holders on the downtube.

Bottom Line:
Overall an awesome bike for the money. I have the alloy frame. I upgraded to a set of Stan's Crest wheels and got the weight down to 28.5 lbs. New bars, stem, converted it to a 1x10(will never go back). I have had a lot of fun on this bike, from Allegrippis to Pisgah, it handles everything well. I love the 27.5 wheels. I took the spacer out of the Fox Float to make it 120mm, but the fork is always the first limitation I find on this bike. You have got to make sure the clevis pivots stay tight or you will constantly hear what sounds like drivetrain creaking. After you figure this out, the bike rides silent and smooth.

Strengths:    GT Helion Comp...efficient drivetrain. suspension feels like it has more than 110mm of travel. decent components on the base model. quite comfortable for a XC bike.

Weaknesses:    GT Helion Comp If you set the rear shock too light... it will lead to countless pedal strikes (compared to my other GT bikes) other than that none really.

Bottom Line:
This bike is VERY different from the old I-Drive bikes. Travel is smooth and feels more than enough. I changed the components to Sram x-9 trail and an x fusion fork with Easton bar, stem and seatpost. mavic cross roc wheels. at this point I couldn't ask for better.
