Strengths:    Superb geometry on transitioning from uphill to descending. Great components for the money. Seat is comfortable. Front fork is best I have ridden

Weaknesses:    Dropper seatpost seems to move about an inch when weighted. Wheels seem heavy but bought them knowing I will likely outfit with some Chinese carbon ones.

Bottom Line:
Just bought the Mission 2 and have spent about 20 miles the saddle. Really impressed with the suspension. Bites into the dirt when getting on the pedals. Large frame fits me perfectly at 6'1" I bought this model after speaking to DB and the rave reviews on the 27.5 Mission. I am not disappointed and will really put her through the paces at Whistler this weekend.

Go easy on the downhill. The park district has been busy putting a bunch of barbed wire as well, including some on the ... Read More »

Vee Rubber Speed-R or Mission?

Has anyone used either of these tires for a rear tire? It looks like both would provide good traction and fairly fast rolling speed, and I want to combine it with a Nobby Nic 2.35" up front. If it matters for comparison's sake, I ride mainly in Colorado on hardpacked trails with varying amount of ... Read More »
