Strengths:    confidence inspiring, loves to be manhandled. awesome fork and 42tooth cassette

Weaknesses:    low bottom bracket (Pedal strikes), wide chain stays ( shoes rub on chain stays some times). minimal and no more than other bikes I've riden

Bottom Line:
I Just got back into mtb after about 10 years . Most of my previous riding had been aggressive cross-country. This time around i wanted to try something completely different. I wanted something with considerable more travel than the 4" of travel that my previous cross-country rig had. I also wanted something different than all of usual suspects (Trek, cannonade,Specialized exc.)Nothing wrong with those brands but wanted to stand out a little bit. I did some research on line and came across the Meta AM. I bought it directly from Commencal online, delivery was fast(almost to fast for such a big package)and awesome costumer service. It took me a few sessions to dial everything in but now this thing just rips. i can't tell you how much more confident i ride. i find my self pumping berms, clearing doubles, and all other sorts of shenanigans. The bike is by no means a light weight( just under 30LB) but climbs with minimal suspension feedback, amazing grip and authority. Going down hill it simply rips and bites the corners. The component group it came with is holding up very well so far. Im glad i took a chance on this Commencal. Its dam sexy too, it gets lots of comments in the parking lot. This is the 2016 Meta AM Ride Orange. Enjoy
