Strengths:    Predictable, bomb proof, smooth trail feel

Weaknesses:    Weight, BB clearance could be better

Bottom Line:
Was never comfortable on a 29er, so I thought I would try a 650b. I can now say I get the hype behind the larger wheel size. The bike was very predictable of over ruts and rocks. Was definitely able to roll through turns quicker than on my 26" bike. I never felt out of gear on the 1x9 set up.

Beasley 1x9, is the derailleur hanger the same...

as any other Haro models ? I just bent mine in a body-auger crash (clipped bar against tree, wheelspun and endo at speed) tonight and while I can probably straighten it with the park derailleur hanger tool, I'd still like to get some spares.Read More »
