With Bronson-mania still at full throttle, you'd be forgiven for thinking we'd burned out on big launches for the year. But the story's just begun. Solo pushes further into the realms of 27.5" possibilities. Developed using what we learned from Bronson, it takes the design platform in a different direction. The low bottom bracket height, shorter chainstays and 125mm of progressive VPP™ suspension give Solo its snappy, nimble, ride. A 68 degree head angle adds climbing agility into the equation, while a 5.73 lb aluminum frame weight define Solo as the tool for that back country mission you've always planned. Solo goes where no bike has gone before.
Strengths: Great climber, descends well, rolls fast, great breaks
Weaknesses: front derailleur swapped to xt to stop rubb and shift better

Really loving this bike and don't think i could have had a custom built bike that fits and works better for me. I'm 6' 230lbs old faurt on a large

Has anyone done a comparative report/review/testride comparing the Bronson and Solo?
I'm looking seriously at buying one of these two and can't make up my mind, but I don't have enough experience to know what to look for and we don't have dealers near enough for me to test one.
I have read wh ... Read More »
So I had a buddy cancel on me at the absolute last second the other night. Normally I would have just called it quits but I was DYING to ride so I said screw it and headed out myself.
