Initially, we were looking to buy a Yakima roof rack, but could not afford the $300. The hitch racks were quite pricey as well. We were therefore left with the trunk rack options. The Super Marathon works well on our Toyota Camry even at speeds of 80 mph. The pluses are that the control blocks actually work pretty well at keeping the bikes from swinging and banging into each other. The three-strap system keeps the rack snug on the trunk. It is also one of the smaller trunk racks and fits easily into the trunk fully assembled. The minuses are that the rack will only fit two mountain bikes comfortably although it is advertised as a three-bike carrier. It does take some time to secure onto the trunk, but not much more time than any other trunk rack. Unsure how the plastic straps will hold up. A good buy for the $69 sale price and a good alternative to the more expensive Rhode Gear rack. Will give it four chilis!
