from Iowa City, IA Date Reviewed: July 14, 1999 | | Favorite Trail: | Ho Chi Minh (in Iowa City) | | Duration Product Used: | 3 months | | Strengths: | Holds bottles very securely - they'll never rattle around or fall out. Also covers the top of the bottle, so it won't be covered in mud. | | Weaknesses: | probably a little heavier than most normal cages. Will only work with the Sigg bottles. Hard to find in the US. | | Similar Products Used: | normal cheapo plastic and wire cages. | | Bottom Line: | I love this thing for shorter rides when I want to carry a water bottle instead of a hydration pack. Sierra Trading Post occasionally sells these (as well as the special bottles) for about $15. Ok, so the carbon-fiber construction is overkill, but they still rock. | Overall Rating: |
