Submitted by Dylan Tack a Weekend Warrior from Iowa City, IA
Date Reviewed: July 14, 1999
Favorite Trail:
Ho Chi Minh (in Iowa City)
Duration Product Used:
3 months
Strengths:
Holds bottles very securely - they'll never rattle around or fall out. Also covers the top of the bottle, so it won't be covered in mud.
Weaknesses:
probably a little heavier than most normal cages. Will only work with the Sigg bottles. Hard to find in the US.
Similar Products Used:
normal cheapo plastic and wire cages.
Bottom Line:I love this thing for shorter rides when I want to carry a water bottle instead of a hydration pack. Sierra Trading Post occasionally sells these (as well as the special bottles) for about $15. Ok, so the carbon-fiber construction is overkill, but they still rock.
Overall Rating:5
