from Spokane, wa Date Reviewed: October 15, 2009 | | Duration Product Used: | 6 months | | Strengths: | Cheap, tough to destroy(but not necessarily well built), key hook, MP# access, room for a light jacket secure outside of pockets, did I say cheap? | | Weaknesses: | Low-flow water valve, poor configuration of pockets, you have to swing it off one shoulder to reach any pocket (no easy access), | | Similar Products Used: | camelpak, water bottles | | Bike Setup: | Trek Fuel EX8 | | Bottom Line: | A decent, cheap way to carry water on your back. Not a particularly good way to drink water. Held up well after 75 or so uses.
Good backup pack. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$20.00 | | Strengths: | Large opening plenty of adjustment quality price | | Weaknesses: | Should of got bigger pack for $10 more. Things get real tight when filled. Only have a tube first aid kit and hand pump and it barely hits. | | Similar Products Used: | No reason to buy those overpriced packs | | Bottom Line: | Beats all the other over priced packs. Unless you have ape hands there are no problems with the opening size. Water doesn't taste like plastic. Cleaning is easy just empty pull bag through opening let dry. Any remainder can be dried with paper towel.
If you plan to carry any gear get the larger size.
Great product great price. Sette offers some awesome products at great prices matching the quality of other companies. Just ain't paying for some name. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$20.00 | | Purchased At: | pricepoint | | Strengths: | good pockets, holds all my gear and keeps my car keys safe. holds 3L of water, and has a valve to turn off when your not using it much. Fill hole is big enough that i can get chunks of ice into it...
| | Weaknesses: | my back gets a bit sweaty, but its not as bad as my old camelback
| | Similar Products Used: | camelback, chaep hydration pack.
| | Bike Setup: | 08 caldera, orig. eggbeater pedals, organic pads, niterider comp. | | Bottom Line: | For the money i paid for this pack, i am thoroughly impressed. i mean, ive owned a camelback, and i like this one better, mainly cause its just as good in every aspect of a camelback of the same size, and its like half the price.
awesome pack. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$20.00 | | Purchased At: | Price Point | | Strengths: | Lots of usefull pockets, durable, cheap | | Weaknesses: | poor bite valve, bladder opening is too small to fit hand in | | Bottom Line: | This pack went through a lot of abuse and is still holding up well. The bite valve is restrictive it requires a lot of force to get water out. It is difficult to clean the bladder because the opening is to small. Overall it is a good pack. If you move the bladder over from another pack it would be a really nice hydration pack. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$20.00 | | Purchased At: | Price Point | | Strengths: | High quality, holds tons of stuff, versitile | | Weaknesses: | none | | Similar Products Used: | camel baks | | Bike Setup: | Jamis Dakota 29'er | | Bottom Line: | This is an awesome hydration pack, and is every bit as good as camelbak at a fraction of the cost. The bladder has a nice wide opening. You may need to tighten the tube where it connects to the bladder if it leaks, but not a big deal; tightened it once and been fine since. The bite valve can be tricky, you need to make sure you pull it all the way to get full flow. The hole in the top for headphones is a pretty sweet feature. Overall, I never ride without it. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$25.00 | | Purchased At: | Price Point | | Strengths: | Looks well made. | | Weaknesses: | Water from bladder tastes like plastic. Cleaned with bleach and it did not help at all. Bite valve is a joke as it will let only a small amount of water pass through. Straps are too long and have these velcro straps on each end that just makes things too cumbersome. | | Similar Products Used: | Camelbaks | | Bike Setup: | SC Superlight | | Bottom Line: | I made a huge mistake buying this system. If the price is too good to be true, it probably is. Of course, if you don't mind your water tasting like plastic, then this item is for you. Personally, I'll steer clear of anything carrying this brand again. Price Point used to be cool. No longer. I'll be buying a Camelbak Mule very soon. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$20.00 | | Purchased At: | pricepoint.com | | Strengths: | Strong, comfortable, has survived everything I have lived with it. Completely adjustable. | | Weaknesses: | Lots of straps (for adjustability) can be confusing to adjust first time. | | Similar Products Used: | Hydrapak, other Sette, Next, Bell | | Bike Setup: | Specialized FSR XC | | Bottom Line: | I mostly used this for long trainings outside of town and for off-road touring. There may be better packs out there, but not in its price range. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$19.00 | | Purchased At: | Price Point | | Strengths: | Cheap Cheap Cheap, well made, does the job with a little extra. | | Weaknesses: | If you have a large torso, the middle strap can take a while to get used to (strap expandability is limited). | | Similar Products Used: | Outdoor Products Hydration System | | Bike Setup: | 06 Marin hardtail, I'm working on some improvements. | | Bottom Line: | I bought this product because of its low price and Sette didn't let me down. It's easy to use and even though I have the 70 once small version, it has plenty of space for tools, a pump, spares and even a clean shirt for your destination. Other companies sell a comparable product for three times as much. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
