Good chance that it will break on you after a year or so of mountain biking.
Bottom Line:
I purchased the Forte Theta and Zeta carbon cages because they were light and looked good. I run these on 1 road and 2 mountain bike. In less than a year I have had three of them fail on me. All in the same place. There is a little tongue that the bottom of the water bottle rests on. This is what's breaking off. Maybe the cages are fine for the road but they are not standing up to off road use. Buyer beware. If these things didn't break so easily I'd give them a 3 or 4 for value.
