from Cheshire, UK Date Reviewed: June 19, 2000 | | Duration Product Used: | Less than 1 month | | Strengths: | It looks like a normal rucksack, and it has plenty of storage space (12 Litres) in 3 easy access compartments. The bladder is actually a 2.5 Litre Platyplus with Lowe Alpine name on it.(see Platyplus reviews). The bite valve works okay. The straps seem quite thin but it remains stable and doesn't move around. It keeps your back warm on cold days. | | Weaknesses: | UK list price 49.99 pounds. It keeps your back warm (& sweaty) on hot days. No clip for a rear LED light. Drinking tube has to be passed out through main compartment zipper.
| | Bike Setup: | Kona Muni Mula 99 | | Bottom Line: | Looks good, lots of storage space for food/spares/tools/clothing and large bladder 2.5L. Best for XC trail riders on long days. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
