Product Description

Bigger is definitely not always better when it comes to bike-specific hydration packs. Aside from the obvious weight issue, big packs have a tendency to flop around and shift uncomfortably. With the Svelte Hydration Pack, Lezyne opted for smart design rather than bulk for a pack that carries what you need intelligently. The full-face carry system and outside attachment points mean the Svelte can haul your DH helmet and pads without taking up valuable interior space that can be better used for a jacket and your lunch. The most annoying aspect of wearing a pack during a ride is that they never seem to fit just right. Because of this, packs tend to shift around and ride up your back. All of Lezyne's hydration packs feature a Custom Fit Spine Plate that allows the user to shape the back panel to conform exactly to their specific back shape. The rigid PP panel keeps the load from affecting the shape of the back panel for a perfect fit every time the pack is worn. All Lezyne hydration packs come with a bladder. That's a no-brainer, right Unfortunately, some other companies force you to buy the bladder separately. Lezyne's bladders feature oversized hoses for rapid water flow and a +/- 90 degree swiveling valve that allows you to drink from any angle.Another thing that we really like about Lezyne hydration packs is the attention to detail that goes into every one. Lezyne labels the pockets to help you stay organized. Lezyne was also good enough to include a full-face carry system and plenty of room for your pads to make the Svelte ideal for a day of lift-access DH.The Lezyne Svelte Hydration Pack has a volume of 600 cubic inches (10L) and is available in Black with green trim.

Strengths:    Great size for full day trips. Can fit light rain shell, camera, two spare tubes, tools, pump and still at least two of the three liter water capacity.

Weaknesses:    Mouth piece is terrible, leaked from day one. My right leg was always wet and often cold in the cooler months. The shoulder strap pockets are nice, BUT nothing fits in them besides the smallest protein/energy bars.

Bottom Line:
Well organized pack. Does not feel too big while riding. Replace mouth piece ASAP and go ride.
