Load up the Deuter Compact EXP 12 Hydration Pack before a burly single track ride or extended hike. The proprietary Airstripes system ventilates your back for comfort and moisture management, while ample pockets keep your gear organized and close by. A 3M reflective safety attachment adds safety, while a rain cover keeps your maps or extra layers from getting soaked if you decide to push through a downpour.
Strengths: Tough and I mean 5 years of riding in all conditions, falling off in all conditions and being kicked around like a football when I got one too many punctures tough. I cannot break this pack the zips after 5 years of zero cleaning apart from the odd hose down work smootly the clips still click into place and the material has zero rips. Lots of pockets and a rain cover plus those mesh straps are very comfortable.
Weaknesses: Its not the lightest of packs but when you have 3 litres of fluid 3 inner tubes a tool kit food and 2 spare tops a few grams mean nothing. If you forget to clip the zip pull tabs together the zips will open up and you will end up with a half opened parachute on your back. Could do with a larger reflective panel.
I cant kill this pack and from a serial kit killer thats saying something.
