a Downhiller
from Santa clarita, California,USADate Reviewed: February 1, 2012
Strengths: Looks great, lightweight, comfortableWeaknesses: Not much room to hold tools, gloves etc....Bottom Line: If you are an avid downhiller like me, and you are looking for a hydration pack that is lightweight, comfortable and good-looking, look no further than the camelback octane xct! Overall it's a great package:carries 2L of fresh h2o and since it's so lightweight and comfortable, it doesn't get in your way whether it be downhilling or climbing. The only thing I would change about it is add more space in the pockets for tools or gloves. Other than that, it's a very well designed camelbak, and definitely one I'm happy with. If you are only going to be riding for about 2-3 hrs 2L is the perfect size. Otherwise I would look into a 4L.
