Strengths: Durable. Stable like a boulder. Heavy flywheel allowing for better road simulation. Can be connected to computerized simulator programs like Netathlon. Onboard program allows for many types of road simulations including some customized.
Weaknesses: Big, heavy and bulky. LCD screen hard to see. Heart monitor differs from both my POLARs. Cadence doesn't display though I've connected it as per instructions and sent it out for repair.
Bottom Line:
I connect it to Netathlon. It's a great unit though I depend on my POLAR HR monitor for the data. It's VERY consistant and accurate regarding wattage output. Very stable no matter how hard and fast I go.
To prevent rust, cover the metal base.
