Strengths: *Well built and stable.
*Folds up for travel.
*Adjusts to any height, angle for any repair or maintenance project.
*Adjustable clamp pressure for varying tube sizes.Weaknesses: *None noted and I have repaired road, cross-country, and down hill style bikes. All fit this stand great.Bottom Line: Great value for the weekend rider who enjoys maintaining his own gear. This stand made the difference between making a repair a chore, versus a hobby. Would recommend this stand to anyone.

Bottom Line:
At first look it is unimpressive but great designs are often like that. It is not the stand they use at my favorite bike shop; that would be overkill. It is simple and intuitive as are all good tools. It is light and strong. Withdraw a simple hardy pin tethered to the base and swivel the legs up against the shaft for trim and easy hanging or travel. The hand sized knurled knob for the clamp spins easily and all the tension need to hold bike rotation is had with modest strength. My father, a mechanic of 45 years, was not surprised to discover it's Sanp-On bloodline. My sainted wife gave me this for Christmas; she gets mucho chilis for that alone.
