Strengths:    None

Weaknesses:    Doesn't work

Bottom Line:
I bought these with the hope of patching the occasional sidewall tear, or at least using one to allow me to limp back to the car. They don't even begin to work! It doesn't even stick in place long enough to get the tire back on the rim. Inevitably you're going to stretch the tire a bit getting it on the rim, even if you put the booted area on first. I was absolutely as-careful-as-possible not to disturb the boot when putting the tire back on, and it still came unstuck. Not to mention the fact that the tire deforms and stretches when you inflate it!!

I also tried using some rubber cement under the boot, thinking it would help the boot stick, and maybe seal the tear. No dice. These things are worthless!!
