Strengths: lightweight, cheap, folds up nicely, comes with a tool trayWeaknesses: cannot hold a bike horizontal!!Bottom Line: This stand will not hold my bike horizontal. I have to grip it on the seatpost and no matter how tight you make the adjustment the bike still tips. I tried it again with no wheels on a frame and the same thing happened. There just isn't enough frictional surface on the tightening adjustment. This stand is also not as stable as i had hoped. Adjusting my derailleurs and turning the pedals almost tipped it. I am retuning the stand and buying the park professional race stand.

Strengths: it's easy to use, costs less than the park nad much more stowable. it is light weightWeaknesses: Light weight for heavy wenching tends to flex some, with a little concern fot the plastic fittingsBottom Line: The stand is very affordable. and is atleast as good as the comperable park stand. much less expensive that the race stand that they sell. I would recommend this stand it has held up for me quite well

Strengths: More features than a Park model of the same price.Weaknesses: Some clamps require excessive force to tighten. Heavy mountain bikes may cause stand to tip.Bottom Line: This unit has many more features than the Park PCS-1 consumer workstand. It can fold down without tools. The height is adjustable, as is the seatpost clamp. In the collapsed position it can easily fit inside a closet or a trunk of a car
One thing I didn't like is that some of the clamps require too much force to tighten, especially the one that adjusts the height. I'm frequently holding the bike up in one hand while torquing down on the clamp with the other. Rotating the bike upside down in the workstand is a bit of a chore as well. I have a fairly large and heavy mountain bike. Removing the rear tire with the front one still in place makes the workstand a bit unstable.
For occasional repairs this stand will work just fine. Despite the claims that it is a professional workstand I would not reccomend this stand for someone who spends a considerable amount of time repairing bikes. The professional park repair stands are much more ergonomic.

Strengths: good value; folds compactly; unfolds in 10 seconds; great for light to medium wrenchingWeaknesses: clamps are plastic; doesn't seem suitable for "heavy duty" wrenchingBottom Line: (I bought the "Spin Doctor Pro" from Performance, which is identical to this model)
I needed a foldable workstand(since I don't have the space to leave it open all the time). This workstand folds compactly and opens quickly. It is reasonably stable and I have used it for cleaning my bikes, truing wheels(using the brake pads), removing/adding the chain, and other light maintenance tasks. I have used it about 25 times now--once a week.
My only concerns:
long term durability ---the plastic clamps seem a little flimsy.
heavy duty wrenching ---since the clamps are plastic, I'd be concerned to put the 60 foot-pounds to tight a bottom bracket with the bike in the stand. But I think I'd take a bike off a Park stand to do the final wrenching anyway.
bottom line: for $100, this is a great, practical stand for an frequent amatuer wrencher.
