Self-contained professional cleaning system efficiently cleans bike parts with no mess. Transportable heavy-duty HDPE solvent tank holds 2 gallons of solvent and water; includes solvent-resistant sprayer, brush and strainer basket. After cleaning parts, sludge settles to the bottom, and clean solvent is drawn into basin via a sidewall plug for next cleaning job. Strengths:
-Portable -Doesn't leak -Not many other companies make one of these portable parts washers. -shop quality washer can cost over $1000 -Ecotech degreaser it comes with works great, removes grime and doesnt harm my stuff. doesnt give me a headrush either. -does what it is supposed to do and thats it. -Buy it and keep all your metal parts (chain, cassette, etc) clean. -can reuse the degreaser for half a season maybe more. Should be in every bikers home shop. -Im using the same one for 2 years.
Weaknesses:
sprayer leaks (I called FinishLine and they warantied it with new upgraded sprayer for free, no questions asked) good CS over there.
Bike Setup:
Giant xc bike Cdale road bike
Bottom Line:
Does what it is supposed to do.

Strengths:
It recycles the solvent so there is MUCH less waste than you would normally have.
Weaknesses:
The cap for the sprayer is very cheap and leaks profusely. There is no seal on the cap where the sprayer hose enters the cap. This renders one of the key features totally useless.
Bottom Line:
It's a great storage unit for solvent, and can be used for rudimentary cleaning with seperate brushes. It will only take you so far though. If you really want to get your parts clean, you'll have to invest in a heated or ultrasound system.
