Product Description

Constantly packing, unpacking, and transporting their tools from race to race, professional race mechanics need equipment that is light, compact, and easy to carry. Designed with these needs in mind, the Feedback Sports Pro-Ultralight Work Stand meets the demands of any on-the-go mechanic.By cutting a few inches from the red anodized 6000-series aluminum center tubes, the folks at Feedback Sports created a work stand that collapses into a unit weighing only 10.6 pounds and measuring just 37 inches long when folded. But don?t let the weight and portability fool you -- the Pro-Ultralight?s tripod leg design maintains remains stable on flat and uneven surfaces, and it can hold up to 85 pounds. Easy to set-up and tear-down, the Pro-Ultralight Work Stand features the award-winning classic Slide-Lock clamp. Using a simple quarter-turn open/close action, the Slide-Lock clamp rotates 360? without bike re-adjustment and possesses a unique torque-amplifying clutch that holds the bike securely -- without the risk of crimping lightweight tubing. With an adjustable work height of 42 to 71 inches, the lightweight and portable Feedback Sports Pro-Ultralight Work Stand is perfect for the garage, the parking lot, or the trailhead. It weighs 10.6 lbs (4.8 kg) and measures 5 x 6.6 x 36.9" when folded for travel or storage.

Strengths:    1) Lightweight yet extremely strong.
2) Easier to setup than the Park PCS-10 workstand
3) Holds the bike more securely than the PCS-10 stand
4) Stores more easily than the Park PCS-10 stand

Weaknesses:    With my 30 lb. Kona on the stand the stand can tilt a bit if raised too high from the ground. By positioning the bike clamp directly over one of the legs this problem is eliminated. The next version could have slightly larger base 60" instead of 54" to help stabilize the bike. This is a minor issue. Overall a great stand.

Bottom Line:
A good stand for the home mechanic. A much better value that the Park PCS-10. Comes with a 3 year warranty. Overall, a very good stand.

Strengths:    Light weight, Ease of Setup, No-crush Clamp

Weaknesses:    Slightly Flexy

Bottom Line:
Great stand! I was looking for something to replace my heavy awkward Park Stand. After researching decided to give the Ultimate a shot, my wife also surprised me at Christmas.

I love the stand it fits perfectly in my car, light enough to move all around the garage, and I've used it on seat posts, top tubes, seat tubes and just about all other clampable areas. The best part is the clamp, you can add just enough force to secure the bike and not run the risk of crushing a tube.

If you have the money and need a new stand, check out Ultimate.
