Favorite Trail:The ones w.o. blacktop
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $17.00
Purchased At:REI
Strengths:Compact design.
Gives you the basics for trail repair and general maintenance.6061t-6 aluminum housing.(very strong)
Fairly priced for this kind of quality.
Weaknesses:Only it's shortage the 17&19 offer but none in terms of strength.
Similar Products Used:Park Tool
Bike Setup:Giant Sedona with some upgraded bobbits&widgets.
Bottom Line:The actual tools themselves are 6150 high tensile steel according to Crank Brothers.I did some internet research on this steel and found it's also used in automotive leaf springs, valve springs, piston rods and spline shafts, with this in mind breakage shouldn't be an issue.
Will update review after a year if any wear issues arise.

Favorite Trail:Smooth roads
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $19.00
Purchased At:Ebay
Strengths:Compact, light, affordable, all tools useful for road bikes and easy to use.
Weaknesses:Less tools than some may like, but if you want more tools the Multi-17 or 19 should be adequate.
Similar Products Used:Home tools (quality screwdrivers and cheap allen keys) but no multi-tools.
Bike Setup:2008 Giant TCR Alliance.
Bottom Line:I was looking for a strong multi-tool for basic maintenance on the go. Park Tool and Topeak are reputable brands with (presumably) reliable products. Crank Brothers is a pretty big brand and of the 3, their tools are the most expensive, which I hope translates to strong tools. I say hope because although I've used the Multi-10, I haven't really tested it's strength (so minus 1 chilli for the unknown). Thanks to Ebay, I got it cheaper than Park Tool and Topeak (even compared to Park Tool and Topeak on Ebay).

Also, the Multi-10 had just the tools I was looking for (8 hex wrenches, 1 philips head and 1 flat head screwdriver). Any less would be inadequate and any more would be too heavy. Park Tool's and Topeak's tools, like many other brands, came with torx wrenches (useless for my road bike) and lacked flat head screwdrivers (needed for my accessories).

Since I was only looking to do basic maintenance I didn't opt for more tools such as spoke wrenches or chain tools (which I hear are lousy on almost any multi-tools). The Multi-10 won me over because it fitted my needs exactly.
