Favorite Trail:the lake district (all of it)
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $240.00
Purchased At:bromleybike.co.uk
Strengths:Beautifully made (as with every chris king product), comes with a decent manual that has lots of helpful pictures, does exactly what it says on the tin
Weaknesses:Price, this beast is damn expensive
Bottom Line:It may be expensive, but at about £40 for an annual service of a rear hub and £15 for a front, £140 for a tool to service them yourself seems to make sense when the hubs are guaranteed for five years. If you've already got chris king hubs (which you probably have if youre reading this) then i guess you won't be averse to splashing out on quality gear. I'd recommend it to anyone who's serious about maintaining their bike, even if you arn't an experienced machanic, the manual is easy to follow and explains exactly what you need to do step by step. 5 chillis overall, but only 4 for value because it doesnt come cheap.

Favorite Trail:
Everywhere in Wintrhop Wash.wi
Duration Product Used:
less than 1 month
Strengths:
Design, documentation in enclosed manual, part labeling on tool and beautiful workmanship of tool itself.
Weaknesses:
Could have been designed to double as headset tool
Bike Setup:
Klein, shimano shifting, race face cranks, headset, bars, synchros stems and post, Manitou and yes Chris King Hubs and Mavics
Bottom Line:Works as expected and hoped. The manual is written in easy speak and the tool is very beautiful. Everything about King comoponents seems to be better than expected. This tool is worth having even if you never take the hubs apart.
Overall Rating:5
