Strengths: Fast-loading, secures bikes away from car paintwork, highly adjustable. Blinkin' strong!Weaknesses: A fatigue fracture a main plastic stanction appeared after 5 months of intensive use. A real disappointment, but it was replaced under warranty.Bottom Line: This product impressed the hell out of us when we first started using it. In fact on at least two occasions, I've been asked where I got the rack! The bikes load quickly and can be secured rigidly.
The rack is lightweight and fastens at 8 points to the car (4 at top, 2 at bottom and 2 on sides) which genuinely minimises rock and roll. I felt very comfortable when driving with 4 bikes loaded up.
I like this rack a lot. It's a real pitty the stanction fatigued so soon - I hope the same problem doesn't appear on the replacement.
I would have given the rack 5 chillis had it not been for the stanction.
