Strengths: None so farWeaknesses: Comes in 3 main pieces which are held together by set screws that strip out rather easily. It's really made for a road bike but I was able to squeeze it onto my Giant Yukon. It shakes and rattles alot.Bottom Line: I would stick to something more robust. This one certainly won't take the trail as it barely takes the road. Old Man Mountain makes hardcore racks for off road.
Favorite Trail: Road
Duration Product Used: More than 3 years
Price Paid:
$30.00
Purchased At: Performance store
Similar Products Used: Performance Trans-it rear pannier rack
Bike Setup: My MTB is set up for a daily road commuter with Comfort Bike tires. I use panniers on the front and rear as well as a handle bar bag, all made by Performance.
