The gauge is nice, big, easy to read, and accurate. | | Weaknesses: | You do indeed need to screw the Presta fitting on before, then screw the pump on. What people fail to realize in posts below is that this is a frame pump, meant to be carried on the bike/bag. If your expecting it to pump your tire up in 4-5 pumps like a floor pump, its not goig to happen. Also the people who say it leaks air when you disconnect, this is also untrue. When you hook the pump up to a shock it gets its psi reading by the air that is forced into the pump tube. This is the case with any shock pump. If u were to then disconnect it you would loose the air that is in the pump tube, thus lowering the psi in your pump by what ever was in the pump tube. The hiss u hear when u disconnect it the air releasing from the pump hose, not the shock. If you pump your shock to 100psi and disconnect, then reconnect it will be lower since it uses some air to refill the hose to give u a reading.

This is what attracted me to the pump, but I've been sorry ever since. | | Weaknesses: | On the shock pump, it looses heaps of pressure when disconnected/reconnected. There is a 40psi difference between taking it off and immediately putting it back on. It takes a lot of effort to inflate a tyre, set aside half an hour and have energetic arms. It hisses air at the point where the hose connects to the guage. It also has a habit of unscrewing and comming apart when in use. Also for those who have worried about breaking off a stemp with those pump designs where the chuck fits right onto the stem, fear not. This new design has a adapter on a short hose that rotates 360 degrees..smart design that allows you to pump like hell without worry. | | Weaknesses: | A little bit heavy, but not for 2 pumps. Weight due to the cast head.
