Strengths:    Small size, clip attaches conveniently to water bottle bosses without interfering with water bottle or pedaling, light weight.

Weaknesses:    Stoke too short, insufficient pump pressure, small grip surfaces, slippery grip surfaces, hard or impossible to inflate tire without rocking the value back and forth and damaging tube.

Bottom Line:
This mini pump seemed like a good choice because the Trek 1500 does not have a pump peg for a regular frame pump (duh, Trek). However, I have found it impossible to inflate tires to more than 80 lbs using the Specialized Air Force 4. This might be enough for emergency use, but not for service as my only pump. The handle and head are too small to grip properly and are made of slippery plastic, making it impossible to inflate the tire without a lot of lateral motion on the valve stem, which ruined the first tube I tried to inflate. So far, I have had to finish the inflation job at home with my old Zefal frame pump every time. I will probably see if I can return this pump for a better one. Definitely not recommended.
