Strengths:    Pumps well, i do like the presta adapter that comes with it as it is easy to use.

Weaknesses:    very cheap feeling pump like the wally world specials. I dont like the pumping action as it is very stiff (like i am putting 150 psi into the tire when i am only putting 60 psi max).

Bottom Line:
Seems to be a durable pump with easily replaceable parts. Im no fan of the very stiff pumping action. Very expensive compared to others.. i bought it because i am a bandwagon person and heard silcas are the best.

One problem, it does not have the original fork now. If you have one available in good condition or have a better ... Read More »

2014 Epic or Scalpel for Endurance racing/x-terra?

Hi, Looking at getting a more "racy" bike for next season. Currently on a Tallboy LTc XX1 that has served me well, but a soft 140mm of travel and 27lb is not cutting it for Park City point to point (10 hrs on the TB LTc). Saw a ton of Scalpels/Epics at x-terra nationals in Odgen too. I test r ... Read More »
