Favorite Trail:Romero
Duration Product Used:More than 3 years
Price Paid: $80.00
Purchased At:Performance
Strengths:It looks like it works...
Weaknesses:It doesn't work well at all.
Similar Products Used:Specialized Air Tools
Bike Setup:Specialized Epic Marathon (2003); Merlin Ti Fortius (2003)
Bottom Line:It doesn't work. I have been suffering through ownership of this product for 3+ years. After paying what I remember to be about $80 I expect it to last. Turns out, it was never an efficient pump from the beginning. It takes forever to inflate a tire to high pressure (road) and leaks air like no other. It used to rip the valve stems off my tubes upon removal of the head (good times), Park recalled it and sent out a rebuild kit and it still sucked. For being suck heavy construction it really does not work anywhere close to as good as pumps half the price ($45 Specialized Air Tools kills the park!). Stay away from this product, its a huge miss.

Date Reviewed: December 28, 2007
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $45.00
Purchased At:Nashbar
Strengths:Gauge is on top where you can see it.
Weaknesses:Made in China.Tips over easily.Lever should be reversed lift up to put on press down to lock on.
Similar Products Used:Specialized
Bike Setup:Litespeed Telico all xt,Lynskey all Dura-ace
Bottom Line:Made in China. Not worth the money.I used it before I noticed it was made in China otherwise I would have sent it back.I thought Park Tools were US made.I have a Specialized which is 5yrs old and needed new rubber inserts which I got from Specialized for free and now works great like it always did.So don't waste your money.I'm sure there are other pumps made in China and if thats the case spend as little as possible.
