Duration Product Used:

$35.00
Purchased At:
Europe Bound
Strengths:
Best designed shock pump valve, no tedious double screw system for engagement and disengagement - just screw on and screw off, easy! Very sturdy construction.
Weaknesses:
Gets very tough to pump above 150psi but I guess that's with all shock pumps, kinda pricey but it's one high quality product.
Similar Products Used:
SKS Shock Pump, Planet Bike Shock Pump
Bike Setup:
Cannondale F800 with Lefty.
Bottom Line:
This is the best shock pump I can find in TO, all other shock pumps require you to first screw on the valve, then turn the hose to engage / disengage which is a bad design since once you disengage, unscrewing the valve off the fork might engage the pump again resulting in a loss of air pressure. Tried a SKS Shock Pump which leaked air at the hose and the valve engagement siezed, the Planet Bike Shock Pump's valve has a huge diameter that wouldn't fit into the bottom of the Lefty fork. Mountain Equipment Coop sells those two pumps for very cheap but I guess you get what you pay for.
