A separate pump for your shocks seems like overkill. Until you use a good one. The Lezyne Shock Drive Shock Pump isn't a cross-purpose item, but something designed for one thing and one thing only; fine tuning your air ride. To that end, Lezyne has made the pump with a thread-on chuck. No reason to have air leaking out. They've built an in-line gauge at the pump end of the hose. Might as well know exactly what you've put in. There's a bleeder valve as well to get the pressure to exactly where you want it. The pump has a pivot between the barrel and the hose so it folds up small for travel but expands out for easy pumping. And the pump construction is CNC-machined aluminum for the barrel, the piston, and the handle, so you know it will take abuse on the trail, in your toolbox, in your garage, and still pump out the volume time after time.The Lezyne Shock Drive Shock Pump is 205mm long. Weaknesses: Doesn't work. My valve has leaked from day one and quickly degraded to the point where it drains all their air from my shock. Lezyne has no tech manuals on their site and their customer service department has been unresponsive so I haven't been able to fix it. Don't buy this lemon of a pump.
