Strengths: Quick inflation, compact, lockout to avoid accidental release.Weaknesses: Cost of CO2 cartridge, 16g does not fully fill a 29er tire.Bottom Line: Thought this took threaded & non threaded cartridges. Just blew through 2 non threaded ones in the garage getting set for a ride.....$5 down the drain in seconds! Did not fill my 29" tire last week during a trailside repair. I had to borrow a pump from a guys riding by. Gave my spare cartridge to a rider a few weeks back, and did not restock the spare!

Strengths: Compact size, however the size and weight increase quickly as you carry more CO2 cartridges for trail rides.Weaknesses: The Ultraflate Plus with just one CO2 cartridge weighs more than a good compact handpump. It's main strength is also one of its main weaknesses....Compact size, however size and weight increase quickly as you carry more CO2 cartridges for trail rides. While one cartridge will fill most 26" tires to riding pressure, this is not always true for 29er tires. When you run out of CO2 cartridges (which are heavy and cost $$$) you're out of air and walking instead of riding.Bottom Line: Size and weight increase quickly as you carry more CO2 cartridges for trail rides. The Ultraflate Plus with just one CO2 cartridge weighs more than a good compact handpump!
If you want to keep your pack weight down, flat repair cost down, and number of tires aired up....don't buy this....buy a good old compact handpump!
