Strengths: Inflates tires without a pump.Bottom Line: If using presta, get a schrader adapter. Screw 16gm co2 cannister onto microflate all the way, screw schrader adapter ont presta valve stem, screw microflate to adapter, now that everything is tight and ready, un-twist cannister about 1/2 turn and let all of contents into tire. Your road tire will be at 130psi, your mountain tire will be at 45psi. Keep on truckin'

Strengths: small, light weight, simple to useWeaknesses: noneBottom Line: does what it is supposed to do, not difficult to use. instructions printed right on the can (of the big sir C02 cartridge). remember to point the valve down while inflating. Doesn't get any simpler tan this, and beats carrying around a hand pump.

Strengths: Light and compactWeaknesses: Confusing at first; difficult to control release of CO2; easy to waste cartridges; only uses higher-priced threaded cartridges; no insulation so hand freezesBottom Line: This is a minimalist CO2 pump. It is compact and light but lacking in features. In six months, I have fortunately only had to use it 3 times, and only on presta valves -- it does seem to screw on a bit (but not tightly) and I haven't had trouble with the CO2 coming out from around the stem, but it is still awkward to unscrew the cartridge to release the CO2 into the tire. Ideally, you need 3 hands to do it right although 2 will do in a pinch. Once the release begins, your "unscrew" hand freezes because there is no insulation provided. In retrospect, I really wish I had bought a pump with a valve. Pumps should have valves!
Product package came with a nylon bag (useful for my toolkit), a patch kit and 2 tire levers. I needed a pump that day and this seemed like the best choice. Not.

Strengths: Easy to use, works quicklyWeaknesses: CO2 is not reusableBottom Line: I like the microflate. I have used it twice and it works very well. The 40g Big Air cans are better than the 16g CO2 cartrages because they hold more air and weigh less. This is a big step up if you don't like using and manual pump.

Strengths: haha are you serious?Weaknesses: Does not screw on all the way so air cannot come out with scrader valve. Does not come with a manual so you have to "guess" how to use it. I wasted one whole CO2 cartride because of this. What good is a CO2 adapter if it doesnt even screw on all the way to deliver air? Worst POS ever.Bottom Line: Came in a kit with two cartridges, two levers, patches and a saddlebag. Worst thing I have ever used. I more or less feel robbed. I would give it zero flaming dog turds but apparently that is not possible.

Strengths: Small, light, durable, cheapWeaknesses: hard to control inflation rateBottom Line: The thing works, but with presta valve, you need strong hands to hold it in place while you discharge the CO2. It screws on to schrader valve, probably much easier that way. The "twist to open airflow" method is pretty hard to control. But it's only 10 bucks, and the cartridges are 5 bucks. It'll put enough air in your tires to get home.
