Strengths:    Smal, light, remarkably high volume, easy to use

Weaknesses:    None

Bottom Line:
My racing team used to beg to use mine on the trail as all fo their pumps suck. It has since been teh required team pump for tehlast 2 years. Good fit, never fails, works quickly, weighs nothing.

Without a doubt the best bang for buck pump value put there..

Strengths:    pumps well with schrader valves

Weaknesses:    ruins presta valves

Bottom Line:
I got this pump when I had a 26-er with schrader valves. I was happy with it. Now I have a 29-er and am forced to use presta tubes (unless I decide to mess with the rim hole). This pump bends and/or breaks the fragile little thingies (what are they called anyway) that stick out of the presta valve when removing the pump. Already ruined 3 tubes so I'm getting rid of this thing!

How much parts interchange is there between micro, mini, junior?

I've got a just-turned-4 year old and a 5-almost-6 year old (be 6 starting this coming racing season) who I need to get some racing bikes for. One bike alone is expensive enough, nevermind two! I will either need two minis or one mini, one micro, depending on how the younger one measures. I thi ... Read More »

Micro-mini (complete) options?

I don't have the spare parts around to buy a frame and build one, so I may probably be buying a complete. Shooting for a good used deal, but looking at new. The Googles don't offer very much when you're searching for manufacturers of Micros. What I've found so far: Redline Flight Micro [u ... Read More »

Pic heavy comparison Redline Pitboss, micro mini, Hotrock 16" and modded Strider

I am very fortunate to live in Sarasota, FL, where we have an awesome BMX community and the Strider world cup. My now 3 year old started riding at 18 months and has loved every minute of it. I am not a bmx guy but for sure rode one when I was a kid and can see the fundamental bike handling skills ... Read More »

BMX Micro Mini 18x1" tyre options

Hi I bought my son a Haro Micro Mini. It runs on 18” Sun Assault rims and 18x1" Primo Slic tyres. I'd like to swap the OEM tyres with something a bit more wider or at least something with a bit more grip, like 18x1.125" or even 8x1.5". I've searched the web and get confusing information. [u ... Mini or micro pump?

Hey guys, trying to decide on a new pump to bring with me when im riding. How good are the micro pumps? Itd be kind of nice to just throw one in my saddle bag and not have to have another thing hanging from my bike. Should I go that route or are the mini pumps so much better that they are worth the ...
