Strengths: Auto head, large base, firm lock on valve, bleeder valve, long hoseWeaknesses: Low volume, inaccurate gaugeBottom Line: Really wish this pump pushed more air, feels a bit rough as you get to the bottom of the stroke. Nice auto-head, locks on firmly after you use it a time or two to get used to it. Lock snaps back when released so don't have your finger under it. Seems well made, nice big base & a reasonably long hose.
Was really excited about having a gauge with a bleeder valve, they all should. Pumped a 26 x 2.35" mtb tire to 40 psi then checked it with my Victor gauge, really had 46 psi, too big a difference in my book. Checked it several time with the same results. Guess I'll continue to check with a good hand held gauge.
Bottom line, if this thing pushed a little more air and the gauge was accurate it would be the best pump out there for the money. As it is now, it's a pretty good pump, but there are lots of those.
