Strengths: taste good, stays down well, light taste not syrup-like
Weaknesses: more flavors would be nice
Bottom Line:
works as advertised, even better. The only one that stays down really well even while going hard in the heat. Nothing is even close for 2 hours or less. The big thing for me is heartburn with all the others and with this not even a hint of heartburn. Can go longer and harder without energy plummeting. Level stays very consistant. Works perfectly!

Strengths: Wondrous anti-bonk fueling. No sugar, fast absorption, electrolytes, stays down, no upset stomach, mixes easy, does OK with hydration packs (no mold if rinsed and dried). No sugar crash, helps with cramps.
Weaknesses: Tastes a little odd at first. After a while everything else tastes too sweet.
Bottom Line:
There is no better sports drink product on the market. Buy it if you prefer sports drink over gel, or if your serious about refueling. Great for 1-3 hour rides. Adjust caloric intake for intensity and duration of ride, 100cal/scoop. Combine with Perpentium for rides over 2 hours. Personally, I need over 30oz per hour during the summer. I cramp on everything else.

Strengths: good taste, works great.
Weaknesses: none
Bottom Line:
it tastes good, the mandarin oranges tastes kinda like a creamsicle, its very subtle though. You can drink as much as you want and it doesnt make you sick. I can ride harder for longer periods of time without getting burnt out. i was very surprised that i actually noticed a difference. HEED Has increased my workout significantly, and now i dont crash when im done. Very satisfied.

Strengths: flavor, works well, not to expensive, easy to drink, not sugary, mixes well
Weaknesses: its hard to pour the powder into a water bottle(I crafted up a paper funnel)
Bottom Line:
I tried the orange and unflavored heed. The orange has a very light taste and it wasn't to bad at all. The unflavored was pretty close to being unflavored, but not as bad as many other unflavored powdered drinks. Sometime I mix the unflavored heed with tang(its good if you like tang) Overall the product works great.

Strengths: I've been using a spectrum of Hammer products for the last couple of months of base training. The main result I've noticed is a reduction in cramping. Heed has a very mild and somewhat creamy taste which takes some getting used to. Its not foul tasting, just don't expect Gatorade or Endurox.
Weaknesses: It tastes like the dogs butt the first time you try it. By a blessing of nature, the human mind can get used to anything over time... Now I've grown quite fond of it. Actually, its got a mild taste unlike Gatorade or Endurox which may be a good thing during really long events.
Bottom Line:
You gotta drink something while out on the road and trails. If your spending lots of time and money tuning your bike and body for big race efforts why would you neglect your nutrition? You owe it to yourself to fuel yourself correctly. Hammer seems to have a winning formula for a wide range of race durations. The fact that I'm not suffering night cramps since switching to their products makes me a believer.

Strengths: Best tasting, best working product out there for rides under two hours.
Weaknesses: Only last for approx. 2 hours.
Bottom Line:
This is the best product for sub two hour rides available. I even use it on three plus hour rides, I just mix two scoops of Perpetuem with three scoops of Heed, and off I go. I recently did an Eight hour ride in Colorado, the ride was supposed to be four hours, and the combination of heed and perpetuem, along with my camel back, kept me energetic, focused for the entire eight hours. Nothing compares.

Strengths: Great tasting, mixes well, no simple sugars, doesn't stain bottles, consistent energy.
Weaknesses: Not as readily available as other brands, a few more flavors would be nice.
Bottom Line:
For rides lasting less than 2 hours, HEED can't be beat! It has great flavor without being overpowering. I wish they made a few more flavors, for variety, but that's a minor issue. Since it doesn't contain simple sugars, HEED delivers consistent energy, rather then a quick sugar buzz. GREAT STUFF!!
Strengths: Convenient all in one mix for short (sub 2 hr) efforts. Good taste, not too strong, even when mixed at the high concentration end of the suggested range. This one will definitely go down well in the hot conditions unlike a lot of the overly sweet drinks out there. Can combine with other Hammer products for longer efforts.
Weaknesses: If I have to come up with one: I guess if you are a last minute shopper this one is not in a lot of stores yet so you gotta stock up online if your LBS isn't carrying it.
Bottom Line:
Another great product based on sound nutrition from the folks at Hammer.
Strengths: This stuff tastes great and has a light taste so you don't get tired of it. Fully customizable--Toss in some Hammergel for more calories. Loaded with electrolytes. Use this for anything under 2 hours. Go with Perpetuem (adds more calories and protein) for anything over that.
Weaknesses: None that I've sen yet.
Bottom Line:
Use this with Hammergel, Perpetuem and Recoverite for a killer setup. I use this stuff for anything under 2 hours and it works great! It's light and very effective. I drink this stuff at work as an afternoon pick-me-up before I go home and ride.

Strengths: It tastes good. The taste is not overpowering so it is easy to drink. It does not make my stomach sick when going hard.
Weaknesses: Can't think of any.
Bottom Line:
I've tried several other sports drinks. I've shied away from using sports drinks when going hard in training or racing because they made me sick to my stomach. The Hammer Heed sits well. I can even use it during hard track workouts. I like the taste as well because it is not strong. Has electrolytes needed during racing and training comparable to other sports drinks.
Strengths: no sugar = steady energy source. taste that works in the long run, no film on in yar mouth, no weird tastes or colors.
Weaknesses: slightly sweet for my taste
Bottom Line:
great complex carbs with electrolytes, simple and clean taste. Have not tried to mandarin orange flavor yet. Great for 1-2 h hammer fest, I add some whey protein for longer rides.

Strengths: Light mild citrus taste that is good and refreshing in the heat, energy without insulin spike, electrolytes to reduce cramping.
Weaknesses: You can't pick it up at the corner convenience store in a ready made single serving.
Bottom Line:
A phenomonal product! Gatorade should be embarrassed. This is the real deal. Energy, low sugar, great taste, no aftertaste, real electrolyte replacement. Ideal for sipping at any time, better than water. As a primary fuel source, best for shorter durations, say for less than 2 hours. For longer durations, look to use a more potent fuel source. As a hydration supplement, good anytime for any duration.
