Date Reviewed: May 21, 2009
Favorite Trail:Western Ridge
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $8.00
Purchased At:FRS
Strengths:Helps to reduce tired feeling from a lot of riding. Helps system recovery capacity.
Weaknesses:Cost and Free Trial Offer" automatically signs you up for monthly shipments.
Similar Products Used:Hammer Recoverite, Endurox R4, Hammer race Caps, lotsa others.
Bike Setup:Titus and Eriksen race bikes, I'll spare you the hype.
Bottom Line:The benefits of this drink are longer-term. Not for quick post-workout recovery (try cholate milk for that). This is like a better vitamin, it builds your energy recovery capability. After 3 months, I could handle 40 milke MTB rides better. Not magic, but a definite help. It's a little like Hammer Race Caps, except they help build muscle, this helps build your system.
Be carefuls if you try the "Free Trial Offer". They sign you up for monthly delivery. To cancel, call as soon as you get the free package (you pay shipping), or any time. I did not have a problem with this, they canceled me after the first call. Now I order individual shipments.
Kind of expensive. The liquid is best. The powder dissolves slowly. The chews aren't as effective.
