Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $6.00
Strengths:This review is for the Orange junk.
Effective against grease with a stiff brush.
Weaknesses:
TOXIC. This stuff is nasty on your lungs, eyes, skin and the environment. Read the warnings of the label. Now I know where toxic waste goes after they put a nice smell to it.
Similar Products Used:Simple Green
Bike Setup:Specialized
Bottom Line:Hey if you don't give a sh*t. Go for it.

Price Paid: $20.00

Strengths:This is a review for both bio and orange.
Eco frendly, works very well, no fumes, wont damage paint, great smelz
Weaknesses:not quite as tough as some acids
Similar Products Used:awfull, smelly, caustic, burning, ouchy degrasers
Bike Setup:trek 9.8 03 xtr, fox f80 tiv
Bottom Line:Awsome products, i recomend having a few bottles of both. I reccomend ornage peelzzz for tougher greese and smaller areas. i reccomend bio for larger areas. (its a spray) great for spraying down your cassette, i even use to clean the frame! better then any soap i've ever used.

Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Strengths:bio-degradeable
smell
it works!
Weaknesses:none
Bottom Line:I am reviewing Pedros ORANJ PEELZ degreaser.
The first thing you will recognize when using Oranj Peelz is its smell. It smells so gudd you might want to drink it. But although it is bio-degradeable I recommend not to do it ;-)
After applying to all parts that need cleaning make sure you wait 15 minutes before cleaning with pure water. I use Pedros Ice Wax lube and Pedros Oranj Peelz gets the dirt away without any problems. This combination works excellent!
Ah, this wonderful smell...

Duration Product Used:
less than 1 month
Strengths:
environmentally friendly
fumes don't make me ill
Weaknesses:
doesn't cut through grease like the sticky fume, environmentally horrible degreasers
Similar Products Used:
Schwinn degreaser
Bike Setup:
LX/XTR drivetrain
Bottom Line:I'm reviewing the Bio-Degreaser (not Oranj-Peelz). It doesn't eat through grease as quickly as other degreasers I've tried but the fumes, if any, are almost nonapparent. I just have to scrub the parts a little harder when I use this stuff. If you want a product that melts the grease right off look some where else. But this product makes me feel like I'm not killing my lungs, eyes, and backyard.

Strengths:
I have to agree with the other person in here who said The Organi Peelz however really kicks - it is more dense and gets my greasy
muddy gunky derailors , chain , cogs and chainrings dry and clean -shining and
new in no time. It's also very long lasting - don't need a whole lot of it.
+ it's also bio-degradable.
Bike Setup:
See Sorrento SE
Bottom Line:Yeah Orange rocks, I love the smell (only reason I bought it over the Bio), but now I'm glad I didn't buy the Bio. 5 melted Thermoses.

Date Reviewed: June 17, 1999
Duration Product Used:
6 months
Bottom Line:I've gotta disagree with those below who say Bio degreaser doesn't cut grease. This stuff works great, but some really stuck-on grease comes off much easier if you let it soak. I recommend getting the big squirt bottle, tossing your parts in the bottom of a cheap plastic bucket from the hardware store and then hosing them down. Let them soak a bit while you do something else, and use a stiff plastic cleaning brush to screb them down. It doesn't take too much fluid, but don't skimp, either. Even after the fluid starts to look like sewer water (after scrubbing a bunch of parts) it seems to be working, albeit it a bit less efficiently. And it's a heck of a lot safer and more environmentally responsible than using flammable and toxic solvents like gas and kerosene.

Bottom Line:

Hi there fellow riders,
there are 2 degreasers pedros makes - the bio- degreaser (green label)
and the - organi peelz (red label) the bio - degreaser sucks - literary. It doesn't degrease and it's too liquidy
uses up a lot . It does however work to get mud and dust off components and
frame , but the grease stays on ! The Organi Peelz however really kicks - it is more dense and gets my greasy
muddy gunky derailors , chain , cogs and chainrings dry and clean -shining and
new in no time. It's also very long lasting - don't need a whole lot of it.
+ it's also bio-degradable.My next ,non pedros favourite is the Swiss made DT Biodegreaser-comes in a 1000ml ( 1 quart ) bottlePraise and thanks to pedros and it's organi peelz degreaser - but what's really the point with the green bio degreaser ?!For ORGANI PEELZ 5 chillies

Bottom Line:

Good stuff, pretty safe. I started with the aerosol---convenient, but hard to use just a little. The finger pump is a better value; Bio is expensive, and you don't usually need as much as the aerosol spits out. Counter-argument: the aerosol container is durable and doesn't mind being tossed around, but the finger pump is probably the flimsiest packaging I've ever seen.

Bottom Line:

This doesn't belong in the hall of shame. It works the best of all the stuff I've used and in all conditions, better than citrus degreaser. Try washing it off with hot water (if you guys who are complaining actually tried to wash it off at all). Five stars as far as I'm concerned.

Bottom Line:

This stuff works! All the other people who say that this stuff sucks doesn't know what there talking about.I have been using this stuff for two years and it works great. Finishline degreaser evaporates if you leave it on the bike to work, pedros doesn't,

Date Reviewed: May 27, 1997
Bottom Line:

This stuff does not work. Spray and spray and the grease does NOT go away. You could easily use a whole bottle on one bike in one application and still have grease. Give me a nasty degreaser that will work, I don't care if it is environmentally safe or not. Hell, I don't care if defoliates better than Agent Orange just DEGREASE for pete's sake!

Bottom Line:

This stuff is good! It cuts grease really well, yet is water-based and supposedly non-toxic. Works great on chains and is (I guess) safe on Aluminum (some water/citrus-based cleaners will eat Aluminum). Only downside is that it is fairly expensive.

Cool! This stuff cleaned off a chain that I picked up at a junkyard and used
for a chain wallet. its got a cool color too. Only problem is that it doesn't
taste good.
