Date Reviewed: February 5, 2008
Favorite Trail:PORC in Penshurst
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $8.00
Purchased At:Green-Oil.net
Strengths:Green Oil sticks to the chain for ages and lubricates well. The generous 100ml bottle lasts for ages and the long nozzle makes it easy to apply. The bottle is environmentally friendly as well, so you don't have to worry about those petroleum distillates oppressing monks in Burma or anything.
Weaknesses:The label is made of recycled (and recyclable) paper so stains easily. That doesn't really matter, the bottle gains character over time. Its not a bottle of beauty cream after all, nor KY Jelly! Unlike other lubes, you have to nip the top with scissors the first time which is annoying, but its great apart from that.
Similar Products Used:White Lightning, Finish line.
Bike Setup:Specialized P3, Race Face Cranks. Mazoraohi Pro Forks and cheeky road derailier on the back. Used for light down hill, cross-country and dirt jumping.
Bottom Line:
Green Oil is great for your bike, and great for the environment.

This lube is suitable for all mountain biking, and anyone with a green conscience (which hopefully means everyone).

'Destroy limits not nature' as the bottle says.
