Strengths:    bright, easy to adjust lights while riding, lightwt, cheap

Weaknesses:    ?none, except maybe 1-1.5 hour not long enough
long cords, no auto stop on recharger (must watch time of recharge)

Bottom Line:
great deal, super impressed with the amt of light both the 5 and 10w put out. I use it for commuting to and from work so I haven't taken it off-road yet. Recommend highly, esp. for the price

Strengths:    bright, sturdy, good connectors

Weaknesses:    battery doesnt even last for an hour if you use both lamps, doesnt live up to manufacturer claim of 1 hour burn time using both lamps. looks cheap.

Bottom Line:
this system will work well for riders who doesnt need the light for more than two hours at a time. if you do, then go with systems that provide more juice.

Strengths:    Bright, durable, neat battery back, good versatile light mounts, option of head mounting, expandable

Weaknesses:    relatively short burn, though ok if you only want an hour or so

Bottom Line:
Relatively inexpensive and adaptable. Do what I ask on dark, dark scottish nights. You might need to spend more on extra batteries or a more expensive lamp if your night ride lasts more than 2 hours though

Strengths:    These LIGHTS are BRIGHT! Good looking, Cheap as Dirt!, Durable and Completely Reliable. Easy to Install as well.

Weaknesses:    I don't know of any...

Bottom Line:
I use these lights for commuting (about 20 miles a day roundtrip). The 5w lamp does an excellent job of illuminating junk in the road (steak knives, dead animals, nails, screws, rocks, broken glass, etc..) and on the unlit dirt trails that run along the canals that I ride as well, the 10w alone, lights things up nicely and when both are run together... You should have no problem seeing where you are going and what's in your way. If you want a good lighting system for commuting and trail riding that does not cost more than your bicycle, than this one is for you. It's a Peach!

Strengths:    Very durable ..Very very bright front blinking function.long dependable lasted 3years! Uses AA batteries. the batteries will last more than a month of steady night riding on the bliink mode.

Weaknesses:    the bright steady light failed for no apparent reason. I hardly ever used it.

Bottom Line:
Very good city light. the blink mode will do the job. Pay about $14.00 for it.

Bike Setup:   Installation is trickier than usual. There is a necessary bolt that fits into a plastic housing that can fall out while mounting. installed. One of the packages was missing the bolt. Performance tech mailed me another hardware set quickly.
