Strengths:    Sturdy, Dual Beam, Good mounting system, Nice bright beam, Ability to adjust the beam angle and projection from left to right

Weaknesses:    Battery pack is kinda heavy, No helmet mount in box (not sure if they make one), Weak plastic handlebar switch mount, Slow recharge time.

Bottom Line:
This review is actually for the Supergo HL-20 light system. I posted this review here because there wasn't a listing for the HL-20 and according to the picture above, the headlamps look the same with the exception of the HL-20 system having an additional 20 watt headlamp.

These lights are a lot brighter than my Cat Eye HL-EL300 Power Opticube LED Headlight. I like dual headlight setup and that you can adjust the angle of each light. I usually have the 20 watt lamp pointing straight ahead and the 10 watt angled slightly to the right to light up edge of the road surface and the curb edge. The battery pack is a bit heavier than I would like but it's adequate for my use. This is actually my second set. I broke the mounting loop for the handlebar switch on the first one by pulling the velcro strap too tight. Took it back for an exchange with no problem. I just remember not to pull excessively on the strap. I think they should have made the switch metal but maybe they were trying to save weight and cost.

I found the runtimes to be accurate (4 hours on the 10 watt lamp, 2 hours on the 20 watt lamp and 1 hour running both). It takes about 9 hours for a full recharge. Would be nice if they recharged faster but for the price it's sufficient. These are excellent lights for commuting.
I have never used them off road but I will try them out when the guys get together for our next night ride and I will update the review.

I gave this product 5 Chilis for value and 4 for overall. If the handlebar switch was stronger, had a lighter battery pack and they recharged faster, it would have gotten a 5 overall.

Strengths:    Toughness, Price,(Mostly) Good Design.

Weaknesses:    The bar attachment has a small, but I think easily remedied weakness.

Bottom Line:
I mainly bought the light for early rides to work, but it would be a great for a helmet light should I decide to trail ride at night. Anything up to 30mph on the road is fine. The light clicks into the bar mount and is sturdy, but if you didn't press the tongue down hard enough it can slip out. Which is how I found out how tough the unit is. It came out at about 30mph after hitting a big bump and went into the spokes and then tumbling down the street. I thought it would be a total loss, but I could hardly find a scratch, and it turned on no problem. It's light and the design has good versatility(helmet or bar). I think most would give it a Five flaming turds but I reserve that only for something near perfection. But I am glad I bought it and would recommend it to others
