Strengths:
1)blindingly bright 2)looks sweet 3)pretty solidly built

Strengths:
Bright enough to illuminate the road well ahead of the bike when commuting on hardsurface road. Mount is solid.
Weaknesses:
$5.99 bulbs fail at an alarmingly high rate (best I've done is about 6 weeks on a single bulb; have had two fail within a week of one another). Spring-loaded switch occasionally sticks. Specialized has replaced light three times and sent a handful of replacement bulbs in attempt to make things right. Specialized is discontinuing entire line of lights (headlight and taillight) once current stock is gone. Small, red plastic clip on Afterburner taillights fatigues and fails after a certain amount of vibration. Been through a number of those as well but I won't go there ... gave up on those.
Similar Products Used:
Cat Eye EL300 - five bright LEDs. Light is focused as best LEDs can be but the light just doesn't project far enough for commuting purposes. Need to see the road as well as be seen.
Bike Setup:
'03 Specialized Sequoia Elite, Armadillo All-Condition tires (weigh a TON), Vetta HR wireless computer, Specialized Milano saddle, Trek deluxe trunk bag, Ultegra component group, Shimano R540 wheel set
Bottom Line:
Look elsewhere. Quality is a big problem with Specialized lights in general. Have tried headlights and taillights with VERY poor results in both cases.

Strengths:
Bright, easy on, easy off.
Weaknesses:
Short battery life

Bottom Line:
Good light for on road night riding in well lit areas. Battery life is short, only about 90 minutes before a noticable loss of brightness. A concern is the threading in the housing for changing batteries.

Strengths:
-100x brighter than my ultra-bright flashlight. You'll be many times more satisfied with this product if you also use it as a flashlight because it's really bright for flashlight use. -Bright enough for night road use
Weaknesses:
-The bright light doesn't span wide enough for off-road use. Even though these are really bright, the amount of space they light is only as big as the average flashlight. I once went on the trails at night with it, and I couldn't go down a hill without braking. -It seems for some reason that the my bike (a hardrock) is a bit harder to pedal when the headlight is on. It could be just me, the headlight can't be more than 1 pound I think.

Bike Setup:

Bottom Line:
-Incredible if used as a flashlight (small, light, 4 hours and brighter than the sun) -Good if used at night on the road -Ok if used on extremely basic trails with no large downhills. -Not so good in more difficult terrain
