Strengths: Bright light beautiful, easy to turn on.Weaknesses: Strap alternate mounting options.Bottom Line: This is a followup review, after the strap broke (this took no time at all) I used the clip in my wedge pack to hold the thing on after many many rides it became loose and I lost it on some trail somewhere, really is too bad GREAT LIGHT - poor mount. Along with a similar problem with a pump I am DONE with Rubberband mounts it's a great way to litter the trail.
Don't use rubber band type mounts they don't last!!!
I am now looking to buy something, bright, semi lightweight with a rechargable (AAA)battery and a FIRM CLAMP to the seatpost.

Strengths: Super bright high vis tail light!Weaknesses: The mounting bracket / clip. I had mine clipped to my seat bag (didn't trust the bracket), and the clip broke off. using zip ties now.Bottom Line: This light rocks. Bought another for my wife's bike even after the clip broke on mine (I tied hers in right away). Thinking safety on the road, or visibility on the trail at a distance, this tail light is a no brainer.

Strengths: Bright light easy battery replacement seems light and so far the light is reliable.Weaknesses: The plastic strap keeps stretching.Bottom Line: Great light, batteries CR2032? are easy to find and about $2 each at your local mart. Much more at Radio Shack you may do just fine with the smaller model something must be done about the plastic strap it will be a serious problem mounting this thing in a month or two.

Strengths: the light can be seen in broad daylight. The variety of features is a great thing. I like the options.Weaknesses: Yea, the light cound possibly bouce up and fall off. Clip is not secure enough. Big Deal. Get a bread tie from your stale loaf, or use a rubber band to help hold it if you think it is wise.Bottom Line: The light is the bomb. Dont woory about that clip. use some common sense to make your riding experience one that is free from worry.

Strengths: Brightest tail light I've ever seen!
Light weightWeaknesses: Lousy mounting bracket
Mounting clip too tiny
Switch hard to useBottom Line: Bought one of these after getting my eyeballs fried by one in a pace line. (Confession time - most of my miles are on the road. Sorry!)
My complaints are on the switch and the clip. The switch has so little tactile feed-back and such a short throw that it can't be used without looking at it. Not the best for a tail light!
Specialized makes a nice line of saddle bags. They have a reflectorized loop to which one can attach a tail light. SO, I buy a tail light made by the same company, and guess what? The clip is not only very wimpy and narrow, but it is also too short to allow the "lip" to go past the far edge of the hanger strap! "Fortunately", a zip tie can secure the light to the strap without interfering too much.

Strengths: Bright enoughWeaknesses: Oh the mount is awful! It has a seat post mount with a rubber belt that stretches with time. I have to keep tightening it up to the next stop. Fat lot of good when I hit a bump and the light swings around the seat post.Bottom Line: Annoying. Would be nice to have more mounting options.
